Who does My Brutha's Keeper help?


My Brutha's Keeper was created to help underserved men of color who have faced adversity, who face daily challenges today, and who need resources to get their lives on track going forward. Our organization also helps at-risk youth of color from our community.




How do I know if I qualify for help from your organization?


We assist anyone, preferably male, who resides in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

What happens after I contact My Brutha's Keeper?


A case manager will reach out via your preferred method of contact. During that initial meeting, the case manager will complete an intake assessment. The case manager will also provide an introduction to our organization and describe the services we currently offer. At the end of this initial meeting, an in-person meet-up will be scheduled.




Where are you located?


Due to the sensitivity and nature of our work, we keep our physical address private.




What if I don’t have transportation to get to you?


No worries. Our case managers can arrange to meet you at a neutral location, a place convenient for you. Other accommodations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.




Do I have to pay for My Brutha's Keeper activities/services?


Our services are free to clients. In order to continue providing these needed services at no cost and help offset our expenses, we do accept donations.




Do I have to commit to anything long-term?


Not at all. You can participate in as much or as little as you want. There are no commitments required.
